RAD offers affordable and durable hardwood flooring kits for commercial trucks. Our Hardwood Flooring Kits are made of locally-sourced mixed hardwood species. Mixed hardwood truck and trailer flooring kits are excellent floors for box trucks and dry vans, and they also work well for full-length trailers.
Our proximity to the Appalachian hardwood-growing region enables us to select the finest lumber available. We use a unique blend of northern US hardwoods to provide an affordable, but reliable option to our customers.
Our Hardwood Flooring Kits are built with a natural bottom or take a protective undercoat and overcoat. Truck body flooring kits are available in thicknesses from 1 to 1½ inches including all standard lengths up to 53 feet.

What wood species are offered for truck body flooring?
Our lumber is sustainably forested and locally sourced from the northeastern US and 100% made in the USA. RAD offers mixed hardwood flooring – a blend of northeastern US hardwoods including ash, beech, birch and maple – and oak hardwood flooring. Unlike floors sourced overseas, we do not use any illegal, IUCN Red List tropical hardwood species like apitong or keruing. At RAD, we take pride in offering premium truck flooring solutions that are also sustainably sourced in the USA.
What is included in the truck flooring kits?
A flooring kit is simply all of the long wood boards that are used to make the floor of a truck or trailer. A kit will come with a unique profile or routing for the side boards and will contain a modified shiplap on the center boards. Most kits are 8 wooden boards total, but some may consist of 9 or more. If you are replacing box truck flooring, chances are we can match the correct kit to the model of fleet vehicles you have.
What size flooring kits are available?
All of our hardwood truck flooring kits are available in traditional thicknesses from 1 to 1½ inches and lengths up to 53 feet. If you have a non-traditional sized truck flooring, just ask, as we have the manufacturing capabilities to offer non-standard dimensions. When it comes to truck body flooring, we are committed to your satisfaction and will work with you to deliver hardwood flooring that works for your fleet.
Can I purchase wood flooring in bulk for my entire fleet?
Yes! RAD specializes in assisting fleets meet their flooring replacement part needs. If you are buying truck flooring for 10 or more vehicles, it is likely RAD can accommodate your needs directly. For smaller orders, we can direct you to a distributor who works with our product.
